How do I book an appointment?
Booking is easy, just head to our online booking page and choose the service and time that works for you. If you're not sure what you need, a consultation is a great place to start.
How much will my service cost?
The prices listed online are starting prices. Your final price depends on things like your hair's length, density, condition, and history, along with the look you're going for and how much time and product it takes to get you there. Before we begin, we'll always walk through the service plan and expected price together. If you have a budget in mind, just share it during your consultation and we'll build the best plan around it.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens, we get it. We just ask for at least 48 hours' notice. Changes made with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled service, and cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may be charged the full service price. If a fee applies, we may ask for a new deposit or payment before booking your next visit.
What happens if I'm running late?
We ask that you arrive on time so you get the full benefit of your service. If you're more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment. If rescheduling is necessary, our standard cancellation fee may apply. That said, we will never rush your service in a way that could affect your results or the health of your hair, your hair is always the priority.
Will you ever add services or charges without telling me first?
Never. If we think an additional service would benefit you, we'll always talk through it, including the cost, before doing any work.
Can you help with gray hair?
Absolutely. Whether you want to blend your gray in gradually or cover it fully, we'll tailor the approach to exactly what you're comfortable with.
Do you do color correction or more complex color work?
We specialize in dimensional, lived-in color, blonding, highlighting, glosses, and toning. If you're dealing with a more complex color history or correction, the best next step is a consultation so we can look at your hair in person and map out the right plan.
Will you recommend products for at-home care?
Yes, this is part of how we take care of you between visits. Alongside our restorative treatments, we'll recommend products suited to your hair type and goals so you can maintain your results at home.
What does the name "Olive & Oak" mean?
It comes from two trees. The olive represents peace, beauty, and renewal, the feeling we want you to carry with you when you leave. The oak represents strength, deep roots, and staying power, the kind of trust we hope to build with you over time. Together, they capture what we're going for: beauty that feels personal, effortless, and empowering.
